12 years a slave

Today we will see the first part of the film "12 years a Slave" based on the true story of Solomon Northup.

As the film is 134 minutes long ( 2 hours and 14 minutes) we will see the first 90 minutes today.

That will leave us 45 minutes for Monday and the chance for even some of the Social scientists to see the end of the film and participate in the discussions.

We will use this on Monday for our analysis.
